The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with varied skills across the Microsoft Power Platform stack wanting to fast-track their career.

You will be involved in delivering projects involving Power Platform solutions.

Key duties of the role will include:

  • Designing and implementing Power Platform / Dynamics 365 CE solutions following Microsoft’s best practices.
  • Providing support to Delivery as the primary technical advisor by participating in technical (code) reviews, technical documentation and remediation plans throughout all software development life cycle aspects.
  • Liaising closely with stakeholders and the wider project team in gathering requirements, agile ceremonies, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities.
  • Sharing and presenting to the wider Satalyst team to share knowledge and experience in project implementations.
  • Providing support to Sales as the technical representative for Satalyst by attending/presenting at sales meetings and responding to tenders/RFPs.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and adopting new methods and best practices for Satalyst’s clients.
  • Attending onsite visits to clients when required.

What we’re looking for:

Essential

  • 5+ years’ development experience with Power Platform / Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and its development tools.
  • 3+ years’ development experience with Power Apps Portals / Power Pages and its development tools.
  • 3+ years’ development experience with Power Automate.
  • Familiarity and experience in one or more Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, Project Service Automation/Project Operations, Field Services, Marketing, etc.)
  • Familiarity and experience in Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, XRM toolbox, and Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity and experience with SSRS reports and Power BI integration with Power Platform.
  • Experience in delivering solutions and projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrate analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to prepare quality written correspondence and internal and external-facing documentation.
  • Customer-facing support experience.
  • Willingness to learn and upskill.
  • Willingness to take Microsoft competency exams.

Highly desirable

  • Experience in architecting and leading Power Platform / Dynamics 365 implementations.
  • Experience in PCF development.
  • Experience in Power Platform Build tools and Power Apps Portal/Power Pages deployments using YAML templates via Azure DevOps.
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with other platforms/technologies such as Microsoft SharePoint, Azure AD, Azure App Services, etc.
  • Power Platform / Dynamics 365 CE certification:
    • PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant.
    • PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer.
    • PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect.
  • Customer-facing experience in professional services or similar.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell).
  • A tertiary qualification and/or industry certification.
  • ITIL certification or process experience.
